Baptiste has a Friend
Karl Lagerfeld's number one guy, Baptiste Giabiconi, has a magical ability to transform himself into a teen-heartthrob. There was the Chace Crawford and there was also the Zac Efron. But for A/W 2010 it seems Baptiste is just being Baptiste, and to be honest he isn't really my type, the hair reminds me of Peter Andre, circa Mysterious Girl.
But Karl has generously provided Baptiste with a male friend, Brad Koenig, who is very yummy indeed. He looks very American, and I have a thing for American men.
But onto the actual collection, wasn't it insane? The fact that Karl had an iceberg shipped in from Scandinavia for the runway makes me love him even more. And it appears the trend for Gorilla-Fashion isn't over, as the models all wore Gorilla-like boots. It is important to note that all the fur in the collection was fake. According to Karl you can be chic in fake fur but "you cannot fake chic."
I find with Chanel collections the style.com images don't really get the message across, you need to see the details. So here is a fab video of the collection:
What did you think of the fake fur? The iceberg? And, of course, Brad?
