Lets Go Surfing

Pictures from the Prada spring collection are slowly dripping onto the internet as I type and so far the standout pieces for me are the silk tops and jackets printed with images of palm trees and the beach. The images below are not great quality but you can make out the print.


It looks like Miuccia is the third designer to look to surfing for the spring collections. The shoes in the Josh Goot collection were inspired by surfboards, and the boys at Proenza Schoulder credited surfing as one of their inspiration points.


The only thing we need now is for Karl Lagerfeld to design a Chanel surfboard, or has he already?
